Chapin Theatre Company's Newest Production -
Chapin Theatre Company's next production, "How to Eat Like a Child (And Other Lessons in Not Being a Grown Up)" by Delia Ephron begins August 2. It willl run August 2 at 7 p.m., August 3 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. and August 4 at 4 p.m. at the Old Chapin Firehouse, 102 Lexington Avenue, Chapin. The Beaufort Street Summer Concert Series -
The Beaufort Street Concert Series in Chapin continues Saturday August 3 with the Carolina Players (Beach/Motown). The concert begins at 7 p.m. and ends at 11 p.m. Admission is free. No coolers are allowed. Bring your lawn chairs. Beer and wine will be available for purchase.

U.S. Coast Guard Boating Class -
The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary is offering a recreational boating class August 3 from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. The boating course is certified by the SC Department of Natural Resources. Students who complete the course will be awarded the SC DNR Boaters Education Card. Learn how to opereate and trailer a boat and personal watercraft. The class will be held at the USCG Auxiliary Building at 2390 Johnson Marina Road in Chapin. Pre-registration is required. Class size is limited. Cost is $30 per person.
