Chapin Woman's Club Pecan Sale -
With Christmas right around the corner, now is a great time to start thinking about gifts and homemade treats. Pecans are always good for making Christmas goodies and gifts, too. It's time for the Chapin Women's Club Pecan sale. They have pecan halves, pecan pieces, chocolate covered pecans in milk and dark chocolate, clusters and cinnamon pecans! The price is $10 a bag. Proceeds benefit a lot of great local causes in the Chapin Community, as well as help provide scholarships for deserving students. For information, call the Chapin Chamber at 345-1100.

Chapin High School Marketing Management Students Looking for Projects -
Business teacher David Rashleigh is helping prepare our future workforce. His Marketing Management students need projects to teach them about the business world and help solve a marketing or promotional need your business might have.  He also is looking for speakers to come share their experiences and knowledge. Donate Food to Chapin We Care -
Chapin We Care food inventories are running very low. Gary Schmedding, food pantry volunteer, thanks an anoymous donor at Chapin Baptish Church who donated 1,200 pounds of food recently. He said this has helped a lot but We Care pantry is still short of almost everything. October needs include dry beans, spaghetti sauce, canned fruit, grits and mac and cheese.
