The Recent Boy Scout -
Troop 870 Food Drive in the Chapin area for We Care of Chapin was a big success, with nearly 6,500 pounds of food collected from neighborhoods. We Care Executive Director Maggie Siegfried thanks all who donated food and to the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Scout leaders who made this possible! Maggie also thanks the We Care volunteers who came in on a Saturday to help. Food pantry needs include: grits, greens, salmon, toothpaste, paper products, laundry detergent and dish detergent. Maggie thanks all We Care volunteers who have donated many hours to help meet the needs of We Care client families. And, she said We Care asks the community for continued prayers and support as We Care continues to provide food and warmth to clients in need.
